Amed ferry to the Gili Islands

Freebird-Express fast boat departs from Amed Beach (North-East Bali) to Gili Trawangan, Gili Air, and Bangsal (Lombok). From Bangsal it will return directly to Amed.

Due to their departure port being Amed in the North East of Bali, Freebird-Express has the fastest fast boat route to Gili Trawangan, Gili Air, and Bangsal from Bali.

All Freebird-Express fast boats depart from Amed’s main beach, Pantai Jemeluk. You will find a check-in counter directly on the beach. Since there is no ferry jetty available at Amed’s beach, be prepared to get wet feet. The professional and experienced staff of Freebird-Express will happily assist you with your baggage and any other request you may have to ensure you have a smooth trip by ferry from Amed to Gili.

Traveling from South Bali to Gili?

It takes approximately 3 hours to get from Kuta (South Bali) to Amed, if you are staying in South Bali we suggest you choose a different fast boat operator which operates out of Serangan or Padangbai to Gili.

Check-in time is by the latest 30 minutes before departure. To not be late (Bali’s traffic can be heavy at times) and miss your fast boat to the Gili Islands we advise you to be there 60 minutes before ETD.
